At Stainton Pottery I produce a large range of hand thrown 'stoneware ceramics' for the kitchen, home and garden ranging from mugs, jugs and casseroles to larger sculptural pieces. All my designs are unique and individual usually decorated with natural leaves from the studio garden which has extensive views of the beautiful Teesdale countryside. The garden features a wide variety of bird life which I often use in my designs and demonstrations of throwing and decorating are continuous throughout the day. Visitors are encouraged to 'have a go' on the throwing wheel.
